Establishing a system for data monitoring and getting connected with different networks for providing real time measurements for scientific purposes from domains such as agriculture: soil conditions, growth capabilities; social sciences: density of growers and bio-gardens, influence on public health, quantity of people involved in organic gardening and selfsufficient issues in urban areas; ecology: impact on urban ecology; economy: economic value of produced goods, consumprion and production statistics, etc.

We believe that the food self-sufficiency is the basis of a healthy and sustainable society. Current social circumstances distance the people from the source of their food, making them more vulnerable and dependent on food sources that are often destructive for health and the environment.

GardenSharing is an online platform for connecting people with space to grow food, with the people wanting to cultivate and produce vegetables, for the benefit of both. The platform intends to tackle the major problem that urban gardening is facing today - lack of space and time to cultivate, and lack of practical knowledge to grow organic vegetables. This online interactive summary demonstrates the general project ideas divided into the phases of development.
